TV Binge Diary

Support

TV Binge Diary is made and run by one person. There is no ticket queue and no bot — write to g.luga@codevider.com and you will get a reply, usually within a day or two and at the latest within a week. Telling us your handle, your phone or computer, and what you expected to happen makes the first reply a solution rather than a question.

Common things

A show has the wrong episodes, or is missing one.

Series, seasons, episodes, air dates, and artwork all come from TheTVDB, which is a community-edited database. We copy it and do not edit it, so a correction made at thetvdb.com reaches us on the next sync, normally within a day. If a show is wrong here but right there, that one is ours — tell us.

A show I follow is not on my schedule.

The schedule only shows episodes that have an announced air date. A show between seasons has nothing to put there yet, and it appears the moment the date is published.

Episode alerts are not arriving.

Check that alerts are on under Profile, and that notifications for TV Binge Diary are allowed in your phone's own settings. Alerts fire only for shows you follow, and only for episodes still to air.

I did not get the sign-in email or the code by text.

Give it a couple of minutes and check the spam folder. If the address already has an account, a sign-up attempt sends a password-reset link rather than a second confirmation — so look for that. Still nothing: write to us.

I want to change my handle.

A handle is claimed once, so that nobody can inherit the comments somebody else wrote under it. If yours needs to change, ask us and we will do it by hand.

Reporting a problem with another member

Use the report control on the comment itself — it reaches us with the comment attached, which is faster than describing it. Blocking that person takes them out of your view immediately, without waiting for us. The Community Guidelines say what we act on and how long it takes, and how to appeal if we removed something of yours.

Anything urgent — material involving a child, or a credible threat — email g.luga@codevider.com with URGENT in the subject. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
